About
This course equips healthcare providers, researchers, and community partners with practical, culturally responsive methods to validate linguistically adapted health measurement tools that integrate mental wellbeing and cardiometabolic indicators. You’ll learn how to plan a validation study, protect scientific rigor while honoring community context, and interpret results to support measurement invariance and cross-group comparability. By the end, participants can design an evidence-based validation workflow, document translation/adaptation decisions, select appropriate psychometric and equity-focused analyses, and produce clear recommendations for using tools across diverse populations.
